About Kyle

I’m Kyle Clayton, the photographer and creative behind Captured By Kyle. Based in Philadelphia, I create portrait, editorial, and commercial imagery with a focus on intentional lighting, personality, and storytelling.

My work brings a fashion sensibility to people, food, beauty, and everyday products. I’m drawn to the details that give an image its character—a confident gesture, an unexpected texture, or the way light creates a mood. Whether I’m directing someone on set or building a scene around a product, I want the final image to make you feel something.

Since founding Captured By Kyle in 2014, I’ve taken a hands-on approach, shaping concepts, guiding poses, and carrying ideas through to the final edit. I bring a clear point of view while making room for collaboration, experimentation, and the unexpected moments that make the work memorable.
